With the coronavirus keeping Idaho families home, Easter restaurant traditions won’t be quite the same.
Taking Grandma out to feast at a buffet? That holiday option is off the table.
But that doesn’t mean you have to cook brunch or dinner yourself.
Below are several restaurants offering Easter meals for takeout and delivery.

Bacon, 121 N. 9th St., Boise, (208) 387-3553, has put together an Easter Family Pack ($75): Deviled eggs; spinach cranberry salad; ham, potato, green onion quiche; and Berryill bacon. Order before Saturday, April 11. Scheduled curbside pickup and delivery is between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Bacon also offers a mimosa carafe (serves five) for $24 or a Bacon bloody mary for $10.
Bacquet’s Restaurant, 1117 E. Winding Creek Drive in Eagle, (208) 577-6238, is unleashing an Easter Feast for Four ($185, plus tax and gratuity). “We’re doing rolled and stuffed leg of lamb and it will be AWESOME!,” co-owner Michele Bacquet said via email. Spring Salad: Organic spring greens with tomatoes, red onion, and cucumber, with raspberry vinaigrette and mozzarella pearls. Deviled Eggs: Traditional hard-boiled eggs, filled with a creamy mixture of egg yolk and Dijon mustard. Roasted Leg of Lamb Roulade: Boneless, stuffed with fresh herbs and garlic. Gratin Dauphinois: A classic French potatoes au gratin, it’s a combination of potatoes soaked with garlic-infused cream then slow-cooked with Gruyere cheese. French green beans: Fresh petite green been, sautéed in garlic and olive oil, finished with toasted slivered almonds. Strawberry Cream Cake: Three layers of sponge cake, strawberries and cream filling, garnished with fresh strawberries.
Jakers Bar and Grill, 3268 E. Pine Ave. in Meridian, (208) 288-0898, has an Individual Turkey Dinner ($18.95) that can be ordered on Easter Sunday while supplies last. It includes carved turkey breast, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole and cranberry sauce, with a choice of tossed or Caesar salad. For this item, Jakers will accept online orders and phone orders, and offer Uber Eats and DoorDash delivery.
Richard’s Restaurant and Bar, 500 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise, (208) 472-1463, is offering an Easter meal for $35 per person. Entrée portions will be served hot and ready to eat. Starters: Melinda’s deviled eggs, Richard’s house salad with creamy green olive dressing and feta cheese. Main: pit-smoked, honey-glazed ham. Sides: Sauteed broccolini, potatoes au gratin, two dinner rolls. Dessert: Becky’s cheesecake with fruit compote topping. Order Easter meals online in advance for curbside pickup between noon and 7 p.m. Easter Sunday.
Sizzler, 3380 N. Eagle Road, (208) 888-3215, will offer curbside takeout and delivery service this Easter Sunday. The full takeout menu will be available. Additionally, the restaurant will feature steak & king crab, served with drawn butter, fresh lemon, choice of side and cheese toast for $22.99. Sizzler is open Monday-Saturday noon to 8 pm. Sunday noon to 7 p.m.
Texas Roadhouse, 1830 Caldwell Blvd., Nampa, (208) 466-2800, is offering a five-pound, ready-to-cook prime rib, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. It serves four to six and costs $89.99. Curbside to-go service is available.
